Job Description
- Diagnose types of uveitis using slit-lamp examination, angiography, and imaging.
- Treat using topical, oral, or injected corticosteroids and immunosuppressive drugs.
- Identify underlying systemic or autoimmune causes.
- Coordinate care with rheumatologists, internists, and infectious disease specialists.
- Perform surgeries like vitrectomy if needed.
- Provide long-term follow-up for chronic or recurrent cases.
- Educate patients on managing flare-ups and medication adherence.
