Job Description
- Assist optometrists or ophthalmologists in administering vision therapy programs for patients with visual dysfunctions.
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for therapy sessions, ensuring proper sanitation and functionality.
- Instruct patients on how to perform vision exercises and monitor their progress.
- Track patient progress, maintain detailed records, and report findings to the supervising therapist.
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a comfortable and productive environment for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about the importance of consistent vision therapy and post-session care.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient data, and processing insurance forms when necessary.
