Overview
The Observership in Retina is a short-academic observational program designed for ophthalmology graduates and residents. The program deals primarily with hands-on experience in diagnostic and surgical retinal procedures like OCT, FFA, intravitreal injections, and vitrectomy. Participants will shadow senior retina specialists in OPD and OR. The observership brings knowledge regarding retinal pathologies such as diabetic retinopathy, AMD, and retinal detachment. It is a non-interventional program that cultivates the clinical acumen of the doctors in decision-making pertinent to retina practice. The program is benefitting to guaranteed ophthalmologists to further their repertoire concerning retinal subspecialization. It bridges up basic and advanced concepts of retinal care. The participants are provided with certificates of observership after their assessment.
