Job Description
- Diagnose and manage complex eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and ocular inflammation.
- Perform eye surgeries, including cataract removal, laser procedures, retinal repairs, and corneal transplants.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, such as OCT scans, fluorescein angiography, visual fields, and ultrasound biomicroscopy.
- Lead multidisciplinary eye care teams, supervising residents, junior ophthalmologists, and allied eye health professionals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using medications, surgery, or laser therapy based on patient needs.
- Provide expert consultations and second opinions for complex or rare ophthalmic cases referred from general practitioners or other specialists.
- Contribute to teaching, training, and research, enhancing clinical education and advancing ophthalmic knowledge and techniques.
