Job Description
  1. Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) such as spirometry, lung volume measurement, and diffusion capacity testing.
  2. Assist pulmonologists in diagnosing and monitoring respiratory disorders.
  3. Calibrate and maintain respiratory testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
  4. Educate patients on breathing procedures and test requirements to ensure comfort and compliance.
  5. Collect, document, and report test data clearly for medical interpretation.
  6. Follow safety protocols and infection control standards in clinical environments.
  7. Coordinate with respiratory therapists and other healthcare staff for integrated patient care.
