Job Description
- Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) such as spirometry, lung volume measurement, and diffusion capacity testing.
- Assist pulmonologists in diagnosing and monitoring respiratory disorders.
- Calibrate and maintain respiratory testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Educate patients on breathing procedures and test requirements to ensure comfort and compliance.
- Collect, document, and report test data clearly for medical interpretation.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control standards in clinical environments.
- Coordinate with respiratory therapists and other healthcare staff for integrated patient care.
