Job Description
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and equipment.
- Ensure sterile environment by following strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Assist during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical assistants.
- Handle surgical specimens and ensure correct labeling and delivery to the lab.
- Count sponges, needles, and tools before and after surgery to prevent retained surgical items.
- Clean and restock the operating room after procedures for the next surgery.
- Collaborate with surgical team to anticipate needs and ensure efficient workflow during operations.
