Critical care delivery systems and biomedical instrumentation are combined in this Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Instrumentation & Critical Care Technology. The fundamentals of ventilators, monitoring systems, ICU equipment, and medical devices are taught to students. Safety regulations, biosignal processing, and electronics are all covered in the curriculum. this course provides training on medical equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience is developed through clinical rotations in diagnostic labs, emergency response, and intensive care units. Software interfaces, data collection, and device integration with EHRs are all covered in the coursework. In this course biomedical ethics, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance are essential. Graduates are prepared for positions in service, device implementation, and hospital technical teams.
