Job Description
- Operate electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) equipment to capture heart activity accurately.
- Prepare patients by explaining the procedure and positioning electrodes correctly.
- Monitor the ECG readings and identify any technical errors or irregularities.
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Record and organize patient data and test results for physician review.
- Assist physicians during cardiac testing procedures or emergency ECG monitoring.
