Job Description
- Patient Monitoring and Support – Assist with the monitoring of patients’ vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature, and report any significant changes to medical staff.
- Laboratory Assistance – Collect samples for laboratory tests (e.g., blood, urine, and other specimens), prepare them for analysis, and ensure that proper documentation is maintained.
- Medical Equipment Handling – Operate and maintain medical equipment, such as ECG machines, defibrillators, and oxygen tanks, ensuring they are in good working condition for patient care.
- Assisting with Medical Procedures – Support healthcare providers during medical procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing tools, and providing necessary assistance during examinations or treatments.
- First Aid and Emergency Care – Administer basic first aid and assist in emergency medical situations, such as trauma or accidents, before patients are transferred to higher-level care.
- Patient Transport – Safely transport patients between departments or within healthcare facilities, ensuring comfort and safety during the move.
- Documentation and Reporting – Maintain accurate patient records, report findings to the medical team, and update documentation regarding patient care activities.
