PALS Instructors must stay updated with the latest pediatric guidelines and ensure participants gain hands-on experience in resuscitation techniques.

Job Description
- Conduct PALS certification and recertification courses for healthcare professionals working in pediatric care.
- Teach advanced resuscitation skills, including airway management, chest compressions, medication administration, and defibrillation.
- Educate participants on how to assess and manage pediatric emergencies, including arrhythmias, shock, and respiratory failure.
- Provide hands-on training with simulations and practical scenarios to reinforce learning.
- Demonstrate the proper use of pediatric-specific medical equipment (e.g., pediatric defibrillators, airway adjuncts).
- Evaluate learners’ skills through tests, simulations, and assessments, ensuring competency in resuscitation techniques.
- Maintain records of participants' certifications and track recertification schedules.
- Stay informed about updates to PALS guidelines and integrate changes into course content.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship for healthcare professionals seeking to improve their pediatric emergency care skills.
