Job Description
- Assist radiologists and imaging technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Prepare patients physically and emotionally for imaging tests, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment under supervision, following safety and hygiene protocols.
- Record patient data, manage scheduling, and update imaging records in the healthcare database.
- Support in positioning patients correctly to capture accurate images as per clinical requirements.
- Handle administrative and clerical tasks within the radiology department to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Follow strict protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold standards of medical ethics.
