Job Description
- Assist laboratory staff in preparing and processing specimens for diagnostic tests.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment and instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained regularly.
- Support in the accurate labeling, storage, and disposal of laboratory materials and samples.
- Monitor and restock laboratory supplies, including reagents and consumables, to maintain workflow.
- Adhere to strict safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure the integrity of tests.
- Assist with maintaining patient confidentiality while handling specimens and test results.
- Help with the proper disposal of hazardous and biological waste following healthcare regulations.
