A Tissue Engineer is a specialist in regenerative medicine who designs and develops biological substitutes to restore, maintain, or improve the function of damaged tissues or organs.

Job Description
- Design and develop biomaterials and scaffolds that support the growth and function of living tissues.
- Culture and manipulate cells (e.g., stem cells, epithelial cells) to engineer tissue constructs for research or therapeutic use.
- Conduct preclinical testing of engineered tissues for safety, functionality, and integration with human physiology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including biologists, clinicians, and material scientists, to translate research into clinical applications.
