Overview
The M.Tech in Medical Imaging and Informatics is a post graduate program of 2 years duration. An Imaging Informatics include encompasses the life cycle of medical images, through acquisition, storage, processing and interpretation. This program provide training to develop the tools and methods to transform image data into information driving clinical decisions. The curriculum includes Basics of Human Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Digital Image Processing & Applications, Biomedical Instrumentation, Pattern Recognition & Machine Intelligence in Medicine, Molecular Imaging, Telemedicine Laboratory, Medical Imaging Laboratory. The program helps students to apply their technical skills to assist repetitive work, reduce time requirement and improve the efficiency in the line of diagnosis under multiple medical imaging modalities.
