Histology Technician

The primary role of a Histology Technician is to receive tissue specimens, process them through fixation and embedding, cut thin tissue sections using microtomes, apply appropriate staining techniques, and prepare high-quality slides for microscopic examination by pathologists.

Accuracy is critical because histology slides form the basis of pathological diagnosis. Errors in tissue processing, sectioning, or staining can lead to misdiagnosis, delayed treatment, or repeat biopsies, directly impacting patient care.
