Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal functioning of diagnostic equipment.
- Supervise and train laboratory technicians and paramedical staff to ensure high-quality standards in sample collection, testing, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality control regulations, maintaining proper documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Monitor the maintenance and calibration of lab instruments, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Review and validate test results, ensuring their accuracy before forwarding them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies, ensuring there are no shortages.
