Post Graduate Diploma in Dialysis Technology (PGDDT)

The rise in patients with chronic renal disease in India is driving up demand for dialysis technicians. Hospitals, clinics, and dialysis facilities all offer job prospects for nephrology technicians. Each student must pass 10+2 examinations from the science stream from a recognized state or Central Board. To apply for the Diploma degree, interested individuals must have a minimum percentage of 50 marks (general category) or 50 marks (reserved category) in their 10+2 exams. Candidates must have studied physics and chemistry in their 11+12 term. In addition, students in the 12th grade must be well-versed in Biology or Mathematics.  

The Diploma has a maximum duration of two years, divided into four semesters. However, depending on the college, the minimum duration of the study might range from 6 months to 1 year.  

The fees for PGDDT vary from college to college. The fees range from INR 15,000 to INR 6 lakh per year.
