Job Description
- Assist in the milking of cows using automated or manual milking systems.
- Feed and water livestock, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Clean and maintain barns, milking parlors, and other farm facilities to uphold hygiene standards.
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals, reporting signs of illness or distress to supervisors.
- Assist in calving and caring for newborn calves.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, feeders, and milking machines.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of milk to prevent contamination.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations during farm operations.
