The Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the entire supply chain network of an organization. Job Description
  • Lead and oversee the entire supply chain function, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring cost
  • effectiveness while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery of goods, and maintain quality control standards
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize shortages and excesses, optimizing inventory turnover and ensuring availability of critical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to procurement, storage, and distribution of healthcare supplies and equipment
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as supply shortages, price fluctuations, and logistics challenges, to ensure continuity of operations
  • Build and lead a high performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability
