Job Description
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment before surgical procedures.
- Assist anesthesiologists in patient preparation, including connecting monitors and ensuring all safety checks are performed.
- Continuously monitor and document vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and respiratory patterns during surgery.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or anesthesia-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Maintain sterile conditions and follow all hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Restock anesthesia supplies and drugs, and ensure proper storage and labeling as per hospital guidelines.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide real-time support and maintain accurate records of anesthesia procedures.
