Job Description
An Anesthesia Technician is responsible for:
- Preparing and checking anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and gas supply systems
- Assisting anesthesiologists during general, regional, and local anesthesia
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and anesthesia-related parameters
- Ensuring availability and sterility of airway equipment, syringes, drugs, and emergency tools
- Cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining anesthesia and OT equipment
- Supporting pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Following infection control, safety, and biomedical waste protocols
- Handling anesthesia supplies and maintaining inventory
- Assisting in emergency and trauma situations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and anesthesia records
