Job Description

An Anesthesia Technician is responsible for:

  1. Preparing and checking anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and gas supply systems
  2. Assisting anesthesiologists during general, regional, and local anesthesia
  3. Monitoring and recording vital signs and anesthesia-related parameters
  4. Ensuring availability and sterility of airway equipment, syringes, drugs, and emergency tools
  5. Cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining anesthesia and OT equipment
  6. Supporting pre-operative and post-operative patient care
  7. Following infection control, safety, and biomedical waste protocols
  8. Handling anesthesia supplies and maintaining inventory
  9. Assisting in emergency and trauma situations
  10. Maintaining accurate documentation and anesthesia records
