Job Description

An Anaesthesia Technician typically:

  1. Prepares and checks anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and gases
  2. Assists anesthesiologists during general, regional, and local anesthesia
  3. Maintains sterility and safety protocols in operation theatres
  4. Monitors and records vital signs and anesthesia-related parameters
  5. Handles anesthesia drugs, airway equipment, and emergency tools
  6. Performs equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance
  7. Supports post-operative recovery and patient transfer
