Job Description
- Assist in preparing the operating room by arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is sterile and properly functioning before and during procedures.
- Support surgeons by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing the surgical field.
- Assist in patient positioning and draping to ensure comfort and safety during surgery.
- Monitor the patient's vitals and assist in maintaining a sterile field throughout the operation.
- Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room and post-surgery care areas.
- Document the procedure, maintaining accurate records of instruments used and patient condition.
