Job Description
- Perform complex surgical procedures to remove tumors from the liver, pancreas, bile ducts, stomach, and gastrointestinal tract.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients through clinical assessment, imaging, and biopsy results to determine appropriate surgical intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to plan and execute patient-centric cancer treatment protocols.
- Monitor post-operative recovery and provide long-term follow-up for early detection of recurrence and complications.
- Stay updated with advancements in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries relevant to HPB and GI oncology.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery plans.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and training of junior surgical staff in oncological surgery best practices.
