Job Description
- Perform surgical procedures related to the digestive system, including minimally invasive and open surgeries.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as colorectal cancer, Crohn’s disease, ulcers, hernias, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists for comprehensive patient care.
- Interpret diagnostic tests like CT scans, endoscopy, and colonoscopy to plan surgical interventions.
- Monitor patient recovery post-surgery, ensuring minimal complications and providing follow-up care.
- Educate patients and families about surgical options, procedures, and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital safety and hygiene protocols during all procedures.
