Job Description
- Manage and coordinate daily housekeeping activities within the healthcare facility to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Supervise a team of housekeeping staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Inspect and evaluate cleanliness levels across patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for daily operations
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and infection control measures, and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high standards
- Coordinate with other departments such as nursing and facilities management to address cleaning needs, patient preferences, and special requests promptly
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff performance evaluations, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
