Job Description
  1. Coordinate and oversee pediatric trauma cases from emergency response through to recovery and discharge.
  2. Ensure adherence to trauma protocols and timely communication between trauma teams and pediatric care units.
  3. Maintain accurate trauma records and assist in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
  4. Provide support during trauma activations, including patient assessment, stabilization, and preparation for surgery.
  5. Participate in staff training sessions and simulations to improve trauma response for pediatric patients.
  6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, child-centered care.
  7. Act as a liaison between families and the healthcare team, offering updates and emotional support during critical incidents.
