Job Description
- Coordinate and oversee pediatric trauma cases from emergency response through to recovery and discharge.
- Ensure adherence to trauma protocols and timely communication between trauma teams and pediatric care units.
- Maintain accurate trauma records and assist in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Provide support during trauma activations, including patient assessment, stabilization, and preparation for surgery.
- Participate in staff training sessions and simulations to improve trauma response for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, child-centered care.
- Act as a liaison between families and the healthcare team, offering updates and emotional support during critical incidents.
