An Associate Consultant Orthopedist needs strong clinical knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, and joint diseases. Surgical skills, diagnostic ability, and knowledge of imaging techniques such as X-ray and MRI are also important.

The salary of an Associate Consultant Orthopedist in India ranges from ₹18 lakh to ₹40 lakh per year, and it may vary depending on experience, hospital type, and location.

Associate Consultant Orthopedists can work in multispecialty hospitals, orthopedic specialty clinics, trauma centers, and government medical colleges. They may also work in sports medicine clinics and rehabilitation centers.
