Job Description
- Assess and manage critically injured patients in emergency or trauma settings, ensuring rapid stabilization.
- Perform or coordinate emergency procedures, such as intubation, chest tube placement, or surgery (if a trauma surgeon).
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including emergency physicians, surgeons, and intensivists.
- Monitor patients through the acute phase of trauma care, including intensive care if needed.
- Participate in trauma prevention and preparedness programs, including training and response planning.
