Job Description
- Provide advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU, ensuring continuous monitoring and intervention as needed.
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members for integrated patient care.
- Record and interpret vital signs, lab reports, and patient responses to treatment with accuracy.
- Educate and emotionally support families, explaining procedures and updates on the child’s condition.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment while adhering to all hospital policies and pediatric care standards.
