Job Description
- Assess pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions or injuries, including fractures, joint dislocations, scoliosis, and congenital conditions.
- Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs focused on improving strength, flexibility, and mobility for young patients recovering from musculoskeletal trauma or surgery.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including manual therapy, stretching exercises, and strengthening routines, to help children regain functional movement.
- Work closely with pediatric orthopedic surgeons and medical teams to ensure seamless care coordination and recovery, from pre-surgery rehabilitation to post-surgical recovery.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans based on the child’s recovery pace, needs, and any changes in their condition.
- Educate parents and caregivers on how to support their child’s rehabilitation at home, including exercise routines, safety precautions, and injury prevention strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with pediatric orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, integrating the latest research and evidence-based practices to optimize care for young patients.
