Job Description
- Provide emergency care for children with acute medical conditions, injuries, or trauma, ensuring quick and effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Stabilize critically ill or injured children, including performing life-saving procedures and managing resuscitation efforts when necessary.
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists, nurses, and emergency room teams to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for pediatric patients.
- Assess and manage a wide range of pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, infections, fractures, and allergic reactions.
- Communicate with families to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and any necessary follow-up care, offering support and reassurance during emergencies.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, blood tests, and ultrasounds, and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Stay updated with the latest advances in pediatric emergency medicine, including new protocols, technologies, and research on pediatric trauma and acute care.
