Consultant Orthopedic surgeons can work in multispecialty hospitals, orthopedic specialty hospitals, trauma centers, and government medical colleges. They may also work in sports medicine clinics and rehabilitation centers.

After working as a Consultant Orthopedics, doctors can progress to senior consultant, head of department, or medical director roles in hospitals. Many orthopedic surgeons also establish their own specialty clinics or orthopedic hospitals.
