Job Description
- Supervise the installation, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance of medical and diagnostic equipment.
- Lead and guide a team of biomedical technicians and ensure task distribution is efficient and timely.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain detailed service logs, maintenance records, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Coordinate with vendors or service providers for external repairs and warranty claims.
- Train healthcare staff on the proper use and handling of clinical equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments to prevent equipment failures during clinical operations.
