FAQS

How would you troubleshoot equipment that suddenly stops working?

The first step is to understand the reported problem and perform a systematic inspection. Power supply, connections, operating conditions, error codes, components, and relevant system parameters should be checked before identifying and correcting the root cause.

What would you do if a customer reports an urgent equipment failure?

The issue should be assessed based on its severity and impact on operations. Appropriate troubleshooting can be provided remotely when possible, followed by an on-site visit or escalation to specialized technical support when required.

How would you handle a technical problem that cannot be resolved immediately?

The problem should be documented clearly and escalated to the appropriate technical or engineering team. The customer should receive an accurate update about the issue and the expected next steps rather than being given unverified information.

How do communication skills help a Field Service Engineer?

Field Service Engineers interact directly with customers and internal teams. Clear communication helps them understand reported problems, explain technical solutions, provide operating instructions, and maintain professional customer relationships.

What would you do if the required spare part was unavailable?

The equipment condition and required component should be confirmed before ordering or sourcing the replacement. The customer and relevant service team should be informed, and an approved temporary solution should only be used when technically and safely appropriate.
