Job Description
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in healthcare settings
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Train and educate staff on health and safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis to prevent future occurrences
- Monitor and manage the safe disposal of hazardous materials, medical waste, and chemicals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in health and safety practices
