Job Description
  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in healthcare settings
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  3. Train and educate staff on health and safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  4. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis to prevent future occurrences
  5. Monitor and manage the safe disposal of hazardous materials, medical waste, and chemicals
  6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in health and safety practices
