Job Description
- Provide immediate emotional and psychological support to individuals experiencing acute distress or trauma.
- Assess the individual’s emotional state and crisis situation to determine the appropriate level of intervention.
- Offer short-term counselling and de-escalation techniques to manage emotional and mental health crises.
- Collaborate with medical and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients in distress.
- Document detailed case reports and maintain records of client interactions as per healthcare regulations.
- Identify and refer individuals to long-term mental health care providers for ongoing support and treatment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest crisis intervention techniques and mental health practices.
