Job Description
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of patients to diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs
- Provide evidence based psychotherapy to individuals, groups, or families to improve mental health outcomes
- Offer crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes or emergencies
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions
- Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies
