Overview
A Urology Research Coordinator manages and supports clinical and scientific research projects related to urological diseases and treatments. They ensure that studies follow regulatory guidelines, assist in patient recruitment, coordinate study logistics, and facilitate communication between investigators, sponsors, and ethics boards.
Job Description
- Coordinate all phases of urology research studies, including protocol development, IRB submissions, and trial activation.
- Recruit, screen, and consent patients for clinical trials or observational studies following ethical guidelines.
- Schedule and track patient visits, procedures, and data collection in compliance with study protocols.
- Maintain accurate and organized research documentation, including case report forms and regulatory files.
- Monitor study progress, report adverse events, and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Communicate with principal investigators, sponsors, regulatory bodies, and clinical teams to facilitate smooth study execution.
- Support grant writing, budgeting, and reporting tasks related to urology research projects.
