An Endourology Technician plays a critical support role in urological diagnostic and surgical procedures using endoscopic instruments. They assist urologists in minimally invasive interventions for kidney stones, ureteral conditions, and prostate issues. The role demands precision in handling scopes, catheters, and sterilized surgical tools. These technicians also prepare patients, maintain instruments, and ensure procedure rooms are sterile and functional. They work in hospitals, specialty urology centers, and surgical units under the direct supervision of urologists.

Job Description
- Assist urologists during endourological procedures like cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and laser lithotripsy.
- Prepare and maintain endoscopic instruments, ensuring proper sterilization and functioning.
- Set up operating rooms with necessary tools and equipment prior to procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support throughout diagnostic or surgical procedures.
- Handle documentation, patient records, and maintain inventory of urology supplies.
- Follow infection control protocols and assist in post-operative patient care as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other paramedical staff to ensure procedural efficiency.
