Job Description
  1. Manage critically ill transplant patients in the ICU, providing advanced organ support (ventilation, renal replacement therapy, vasopressors, etc.).
  2. Oversee perioperative care for transplant recipients and donors, especially during the high-risk pre- and post-operative phases.
  3. Lead resuscitation and emergency management, including treatment of graft dysfunction, sepsis, multi-organ failure, and bleeding.
  4. Coordinate with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, and infectious disease specialists to ensure integrated critical care.
  5. Perform bedside procedures, such as central line insertion, arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
  6. Contribute to ICU protocols and transplant team discussions, including patient selection, resource planning, and outcome evaluation.
