Job Description
- Evaluate renal patients preoperatively and plan appropriate anaesthetic protocols tailored to kidney function.
- Administer anaesthesia and monitor vital signs during renal surgeries such as transplants or AV fistula creation.
- Collaborate with nephrology, surgery, and ICU teams to manage perioperative care.
- Handle intraoperative complications, especially those linked to fluid balance, electrolyte shifts, and blood pressure.
- Oversee post-operative anaesthetic recovery, ensuring safe transition to critical or ward care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of anaesthetic procedures and patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with clinical guidelines in renal anaesthesia and attend relevant medical training or conferences.
