Overview
As a Junior Consultant Anesthesia, responsible for assisting in administering anesthesia, monitoring patients' vital signs, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure smooth and safe surgical experiences.
Job Description
- Provide anesthesia care and perioperative medical management to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assist senior consultants in evaluating patient medical histories and determining appropriate anesthesia plans
- Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patient vital signs during surgeries and procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and manage anesthesia-related complications
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical meetings to discuss patient care strategies
- Contribute to teaching and training programs for residents and medical students
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through professional development and continuing education activities
