Job Description
- To design cancer patient’s treatment plan who have been prescribed for radiotherapy by Oncologist
- Calculates treatment machine settings, documents calculations
- Assistance for brachytherapy procedures by performing treatment planning and dose calculations
- Assisting in the receiving, loading, and shipping of radioactive materials
- Manage radiation monitoring devices to measure radioactivity and perform assays
- Providing assistance and technical support to the medical physicist/ radiation oncologist, in radiation safety and protection
- Assisting for qualitative machine calibrations, quality assurance of treatment plans and radiation oncology equipment
- Operates and performs quality assurance
