Job Description
- Diagnose various types and stages of cancer using clinical assessments, lab tests, and imaging.
- Design and supervise individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, radiation, and/or surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, and other specialists for integrated patient care.
- Counsel patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, outcomes, and ongoing support.
- Stay updated with advancements in oncology through continuous education and research participation.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness, adjust therapies, and manage any complications or side effects.
- Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethics.
