Job Description
- Assist gastroenterologists during colonoscopy and other endoscopic procedures by operating and preparing medical equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of all instruments before and after procedures.
- Prepare patients physically and emotionally for procedures, explaining processes and answering queries with compassion.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any abnormalities to the medical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, sterilization logs, and patient records as per healthcare regulations.
- Manage endoscopy suites by organizing tools, supplies, and ensuring infection control practices.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care in diagnostic settings.
