Job Description
- Diagnose liver conditions such as hepatitis, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver tumors by examining biopsy and surgical tissue samples.
- Provide expert consultation to clinicians, surgeons, and other pathologists on complex or unusual liver pathology cases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing diagnostic insight to guide patient treatment plans.
- Review and validate pathology reports, ensuring high standards of diagnostic accuracy and quality.
- Mentor junior pathologists and trainees, offering guidance in hepatopathology interpretation and best practices.
- Stay up to date with advancements in liver pathology, such as molecular diagnostics and digital pathology tools.
