Job Description
- Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and hypertension.
- Perform physical examinations, interpret lab results, and conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals for procedures.
- Monitor and manage long-term care for patients with chronic heart conditions, ensuring effective management and prevention of complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other specialists, for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about heart health, risk factors, treatment options, and lifestyle changes necessary for heart disease prevention.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advances in cardiology, ensuring evidence-based practices are applied in patient care.
