Job Description
- Assess patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, or degenerative diseases to determine their rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation plans aimed at improving motor function, cognitive skills, and overall quality of life.
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cognitive exercises to restore function and prevent further complications.
- Work closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists to integrate rehabilitation with medical treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust therapy plans as necessary, and ensure consistent tracking of milestones in recovery.
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to manage neurological impairments, home exercises, safety measures, and adaptive tools or devices.
- Stay informed on advancements in neurological rehabilitation techniques, ensuring the use of evidence-based practices and the latest technologies for patient recovery.
