Job Description
- Conduct laboratory research on bacteria that cause neurological infections and their mechanisms of neuroinvasion.
- Develop and evaluate new diagnostic tools for detecting bacterial infections in the brain and spinal cord.
- Study host immune responses and bacterial virulence factors that contribute to neuroinflammation and tissue damage.
- Collaborate with neurologists, microbiologists, immunologists, and infectious disease specialists to improve treatment outcomes.
- Publish research findings and contribute to guidelines for managing bacterial neuroinfections and preventing long-term neurological sequelae.
